I have tried priming but to no avail. I put plain water in the solution tank to test without ay success. It is like it loses it's prime whenever you try to use a solution mix.

I too had a rainbow however I am like your friend in which mine worked very well. The noise is coming from the motor housing or the motor itself. We have the water hooked up at the back of machine. There is a spout for the water to come in and fill the ice tray.but is does not. If we turn the water on it fills up the space under the ice basket.

Cricut explore air won't connect to computer. I keep getting red light and then the two smal llight one ice and one water come on. The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water.
